A fantastic evening of fashion was held on 30 September at Saxon Hall, Aviation Way, Southend with Ravens providing a dazzling array of clothing with something to suit every taste and occasion. The evening raised circa £1600 through ticket sales, donations and a superb raffle. This total has now been increased to almost £2400 under the Government's Grassroots Endowment Challenge.

Grateful thanks go to all the staff at Ravens, the models, Saxon Hall and all who attended and made the evening such a great success. Don't miss out on the Spring Show to be held on 31 March 2009. Watch this space for details of how to get tickets.

 

Mayoral Reception at Porters 18 July 2008

The Mayor of Southend Cllr Gwen Horrigan held a prestigious reception at her official residence, Porters. Guests were treated to a delicious buffet supplied by the Cherry Tree, Stambridge and an evening of entertainment from the Southend Operatic and Dramatic Society. The evening was a great success and raised over £1000 for the Southend Fund. Mayoral Reception
