Southend Fund Receives Backing from the Mayor
The Southend Fund is delighted to announce that they will be a major beneficiary from the Mayor's charity during Mayor David Norman's year in office. The Southend Fund committee will also form the Mayor's fundraising team to maximise the benefit for all concerned.
Mayor Norman used his first official engagement to present the certificates at the Southend Fund awards evening for grants totalling over £24,000 to seven organisations.
The fundraising year was given a massive boost when the hosts of the evening, Olympus Keymed, took the opportunity to present a donation of £10,000!
